Wondering why Sami does what she does?
A letter from Sami: I started Sami's SendOffs when I was fifteen, in honor of every child who has ever fought against cancer; but mainly in honor of my first care package I ever sent, to a girl named Emily Grace from Virginia. Emily was just two years old when she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. Not long after I sent Emily her package, at the age of six, she passed away... so I now continue her legacy and love her unconditionally through Sami's SendOff's! I always say... If I can make one person happy, if I can change one life, if I can put a smile on one suffering child's face, or make one of these families proud, my goal has been reached. Nothing compares to the smiles my work brings. It is truly a blessing to be able to do this, and it has been an honor to be blessed with this life! I am now sixteen and I'm continuing my goal to reach every state in the country! I wouldn't be able to do this without YOUR help!!! Thank you for every ounce of support. It truly means more than you know :) |
